Beautiful spot with tasty range of unique liquors, finally somewhere different in town. It’s got a contemporary vintage vibe with velvet couches and a beautiful wood panel bar, a really nice spot to spend some time. Last time we went there was a great DJ and music playing all night, the crowd was fun and super lovely.

What a brilliant venue! Storyteller is a place that treats its customers as guests. It has a warm and welcoming, and at the same time, dark and mysterious atmosphere with a beautifully custom made burled wooden bar stocked with some of the most unique spirits and liqueurs that you could hope to find. The tequila section alone is a homage to Mexico. An open fire, comfortable bar seats and couches to imbibe in and the staff are very cool and accomodating, you'll wish this was your local cocktail bar, that could be in any international city in the world; Melbourne, New York, Tokyo, Amsterdam, Barcelona... this is a cool spot that has a timeless ambience. The Baron has put together a little masterpiece of a venue that also has live performances that you couldn't see anywhere else within 100 kilometres. If you are travelling through Deniliquin or anywhere near the town you should definitely make the trip to this diamond in the bush!

The most relaxing, fulfilled venue I've spent time at. Our whole group constantly spoke of our experience in the days following. Quality liquor, at reasonable prices. One great reason to visit Deniliquin, you won't be disappointed. The host and staff were exceptional. I recommend the "Corella" cocktail. To die for.....

I can’t vouch for the bar, though every other 5 star review will do that. What I can vouch for is the character of the owner. I recently met The Barron and in a world of characters, he is one of the greatest characters I have met. Full of knowledge, wisdom, whimsy and kindness, I have been left impressed. When considering where to spend our time and money, I would suggest that the kindness of the owner, is of far greater importance than the taste of the whisky.

Fantastic first experience tonight, will definetly be back. Barron has a wealth of knowledge on all things cocktails and different types of unique alcohol from around the world. Effortless old world styling combined with the dimmed lighting creates an inviting atmosphere. Very groovy, thank you again.

The Baron treated us like old friends. The vibe and theatre of the place was exceptional. Best Marguerita I've ever had, and the mint espresso martini was perfect. His take on classic cocktails is unique and tasteful. A hidden gem, and well worth the experience. Will return every time I'm in town. Bravo.

I could not recommend the Storyteller and the Baron any higher, he was super friendly, great service, easy to talk with, amazing drinks and killer moustache. The atmosphere was absolutely awesome and was an overall great experience. The drinks were priced well and were very creative and definitely something interesting. If you're in the area I definitely recommend stopping by for a drink

This is the most amazing cocktail bar I've ever seen 😳 If you're passing through or even within 100km you have to check this place out, the staff are extremely friendly and talented cocktail makers. Mog, Ian Hill and Baron de Merxhausen. Boxing Day 2022 they are having an International DJ from Japan Suseri 🤪🙏 Really looking forward to seeing that.
